A Poem for the Women Who’s Tired of Being Strong

You Do Not Have to Hold It All
You do not have to hold it all.
Not today.
Not alone.
Not always.

You are not the keeper of every flame,
the fixer of every broken thing.
You are allowed to lay it down –
the heavy parts.
The invisible pieces.

You are allowed to whisper,
“This is too much.”

You are not made of steel,
You are not unbreakable –
and that is not a flaw,
it is your humanity.

Let your shoulders fall.
Let the tears come.
Let the breath soften.

There is power in surrender,
grace in the pause,
beauty in being unfinished.

So rest.
Cry.
Breathe.
Begin again tomorrow.

And know this:
Being strong has never meant being silent in your suffering.
It means choosing yourself –
even in the unraveling.
